Contrary to what the name implies, Per Ignem Gymnastics is not directly associated with the sport of gymnastics itself. While some of the movements are carried over, the main focus of this program is to progress through full and extended ranges of motion while developing strength by means of bodyweight resistance. This includes anything from push-ups, pull-ups and air squats, to the more complex movements such as handstand walks and muscle ups. Our program provides athletes the opportunity to practice a variety of stabilization skills while learning how to apply balance and strength to high volumes of mechanically sound repetitions.
