RICH T. FALLS | COACH & PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to be part of such an amazing organization. From the moment I heard about The Phoenix, I knew that I needed to be involved. Born and raised in South Jersey, I moved to South Florida in 2009 to get sober. Sports and being active have always been a huge part of my life, however, when I started drinking and using drugs anything that resembled an active lifestyle ceased to exist in my life. I believe that alcoholism and drug addiction is a 3-fold disease; mind, body and spirit. The Phoenix nurtures all three, plus community, and gives individuals the tools they need to be successful in life. I moved to Denver April 2017 to be part of The Phoenix, joining the team as a Peer Recovery Coach. I am very excited to contribute my experiences and knowledge to helping people on their road to recovery. AMANDA HALL | VOLUNTEER COACH I’m Amanda and I am a volunteer coach with The Phoenix. I love to help people discover their own passion for fitness as I did. Fitness has been an integral part of my life and recovery for as long as I can remember. Fitness has taken me to places like the finish line of a marathon and the top of a mountain, but more importantly fitness brought me to my tribe at the Phoenix and Per Ignem CrossFit. I feel extremely grateful for the opportunity given to me to be of service to others. I have been an avid CrossFitter, downhill mountain biker, climber, marathon runner and Olympic Weightlifter during my fitness journey. I love the challenge and reward of pushing the body to its physical limitations and seeing what we are truly capable of, and I’d love to help you do it to!
