Aside from nutrition, no training modality supports the development of skill more than metabolic conditioning. The common misconception is that long, slow, distance (LSD) training is the only way to achieve cardio endurance. For this reason, we are introducing the Per Ignem Speed Camp which is designed to educate athletes on proper running mechanics, and the correct anatomical motions of the foot, ankle, and knee. While the primary focus of this program is power, explosiveness, and stamina, the running progressions covered within this program are designed to promote balance among all three primary metabolic pathways.
